User Interface Design
A great freelance opportunity and my first foray into the world of User Interface design. I worked with the Lead Developer at Stream 9 LLC, a custom software company, in order to design an internal employee training module for The Garland Company. The goal was to provide a clean and modern design that is both easy to use and aesthetically pleasing.
Tools Used: Adobe Illustrator
Trainee Stats - I wanted a clean and modern look to the gauges, while adding a bit of color to the page.
Leads page - Designed to provide the info the user need in a simple and effective way.
Continued Education page - I wanted to make sure the video player was large enough without having to go full-screen, but also being able to access the list of videos below it.
Territory History page - I wanted to make the info clean and concise, and also provide a search bar for ease of use.
Inspiration
Above: A variety of inspiration sources I gathered in order to capture the aesthetic trying to be achieved. Some are from other projects done by Stream 9, LLC and others are from websites that the Lead Developer I was working with sent over as a starting point.
Right: The original landing page the client was using before. They wanted us to clean it up and make it more usable and modern. I decided to incorporate the use of tabs in a vertical nav bar to keep all the info on screen without having to scroll down a long page.
